Liz is a highly versatile lawyer, she practises in a number of areas of law. Liz studied over a period of 8 years and graduated with Honors. Liz was admitted to the Supreme Court of Quensland in 2019 and the High Court of Australia in 2021 Liz commenced her career in the legal industry working in a boutique firm in Brisbane North as a legal clerk. This role saw Liz working in the area of wills and estates, criminal and conveyancing. Liz commenced with Jurgensen Horne Lawyers in February 2020 and she has been an absolute joy and powerhouse to work with. Liz has also completed a Certificate III in Youth work and a diploma in Christian ministry, She worked as a youth worker part time in 2003 and undertook volunteer roles for a number of years working with youth groups and in childrens camps for under privileged children.   Liz also studied social work from 2004 to 2006 which has assisted her greatly in her chosen field of law. Liz is an absolute driving force at Jurgensen Horne Lawyers in the areas of family law, criminal law and DV as she thrives on assisting clients that are vulnerable and often underprivileged. She assists them to navigate the Justice and Court systems. Liz does her upmost to ensure that her clients

they get an equitable and fair result in circumstances where they would otherwise not likely represent themselves well.

Liz also has a keen interests in Youth Justice, and has a keen interests in advocating and working with young people that have had difficult lives and are very vulnerable persons in our legal system as they do not often think though the full repercussions of their actions or decisions, and helping them understand the criminal justice system and to get results for

them that will assist in diverting them from future offending. Liz is a senior lawyer experienced in Family law, youth Justice, criminal law and Domestic violence. She will protect your interest and guide you safelythrough the court system.
