Chrissy is a valuable member of our team. Chrissy was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2021, having completed a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice in 2020 Chrissy commenced with Jurgensen Horne Lawyers in 2022 and her interests in criminal law was well established. Chrissy has a keen interest to become an accredited specialist in Criminal Law. Her journey into the legal profession included a formative placement with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in 2019, where she gained invaluable insight into prosecutorial work. Since then, she has gone on to become an accredited Criminal Duty Lawyer, advocating for her clients across a range of complex and sensitive matters. Chrissy represents clients in the various jurisdictions Magistrates, District, and Supreme Courts, Court of Appeal and, more recently the Mental Health Court. Her practice covers a wide spectrum of criminal law matters, Youth Justice Domestic Violence and Traffic offences. Chrissy is a passionate and valuable member of the Jurgensen Horne Team and we are indebted to her for her passion, knowledge and dedication to her career and clients.
